poker tips
Knowing yourself can be considered one of the most crucial elements in winning in poker. Although you battle it out with your opponents, it is the mastery of oneself which is key to exploiting your opponents.
Every individual will have different psychological factors to consider when playing the game and each has his own style of play. If you are not familiar with your style of play at a poker table, read on and we will give you an idea.
Tight-passive
If you believe you are a tight and passive player, you will notice that you get into the action a lot but most of the time you are outdrawn. Instead of raising or re-raising you opt for calling or just checking. Loose players can eat their way into your chips since you will allow them to play their suited connectors so they will get their draw without too much of a fight. They might also win big when you are a bit too tight to fight for a bigger pair that you have.

When you manage your chips correctly, you are able to maximize your gains on the table and control your loses. Pushing the right height of stack on the table will also help you manipulate your opponents on the table. Bet sizing is a critical part of your poker game, inability to play right in each hand will tell you that you have a big gaping leak in your strategy.
Money in the Pot
How much you will bet of course depends on how much is at stake. Before betting or raising, you should check out how much is in the pot. How much you will add to the pot will affect the decision of your opponents, and it is up for you to react to the incorrect or correct odds they call.
The ¾ of the Pot Rule
If you think you have a monster with your cards in No Limit Holdem then, by all means, go ¾ of the pot. If you want to make the field thin and see some opponents fold then this is the way to go. Making small bets might help your opponents outdraw you.

The situation can be different if you want to appear weak and lead other players into a trap.

I love this play by Greg Raymer, and I completely agree with Norman Chad: this is a Mike Matusow blowup. He had the best hand – but he was either CRUSHED or slightly ahead. In this spot – he was slightly behind in maths, even.
Good play by Raymer – gamble by Mike, and gambles don’t always pay off.
I’m sure she’s not the biggest fan of making this sort of move with Seven Deuce in a REAL tournament — but it looks cool in this awesome Pokerstars Commercial featuring the breathtakingly beautiful Vanessa Rousso. What a star!

Poker Party
Want a perfect idea for a get together with friends? What better way than to host a poker party where you and your friends are guaranteed to have a night of fun.
Firstly before you even begin planning to host a party it is highly recommended you check with the local law. There is nothing worse that to have the long hand of the law to slap you with a huge fine for breaking the law. If it is not legal to gamble, it is highly recommended that you obey the law and do not play for money (we have to say this, but seriously….
).
One of the first things you need to take care is the guests list. Everything that follows depends on the number of guests attending. For up to 10 players, 1 table will suffice. Anything between 11 and 17 will require 2 tables and if your guests list has above 17 people you will require 3 tables. Remember that as the number of tables increase the press sure on you as host also increases.

When you're sick and tired of the online poker tables, quite a few sites offer online blackjack right at your fingertips. I love it, even though
I only play low stakes!
Oh and euh: you can also play online blackjack games with real money, real players, and in real time at Oddsmaker.com!
Genius genius genius. Jamie Gold is a tit and he deserves to lose all his money as soon as possible whether online or in live donkaments – I don’t give a sh*t.
